Hello Expat helps people who are moving to one of the 30 European countries covered. Moovy, the Hello Expat assistant, is an artificial intelligence. Moovy advises, explains and helps prepare applications and paperwork; it does not sign any document, does not represent anyone and does not carry out any legal or official procedure on the user's behalf. For such acts, it refers users to authorised professionals.

Complaints book

In accordance with Portuguese law, you can file a complaint in the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (electronic complaints book): livroreclamacoes.pt.

Consumer dispute resolution

In the event of a dispute, you may refer it free of charge to the consumer alternative dispute resolution entity competent for our registered office: CIMAAL, Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Algarve, in Faro (consumoalgarve.pt).

Intellectual property

The Hello Expat trade mark, the logo, the Moovy character, and the texts, articles and visuals on the website are protected. Any reproduction without written permission is prohibited, except for short quotations with a link to the original page.

AI-generated visuals

Some images and videos on the website (settings, atmospheres) are created with artificial intelligence tools. They do not depict real people or testimonials. A notice at the bottom of every page and on our social media accounts makes this clear.
